A fee based on your annual income. Because "I'm sorry" just isn't enough.

What this is

A place for people who did something wrong, and want to do something about it.

Most apologies cost nothing. That's the problem. Amends turns regret into a small, deliberate act — a fee tied to your income. No therapy, no promises, no audience. Just the gesture, and the receipt.

Case 01

You cheated.

On a partner, on a spouse, on someone who trusted you. The fee makes the apology cost something.

Case 02

You wronged a friend.

You lied, you stole, you ghosted, you talked behind their back. The words ran out a long time ago. This is the act when words are not enough.

Case 03

You're not the one who's sorry.

You didn't do anything wrong — but you know someone who should. Send them an anonymous letter that introduces us. Standard wording, mailed by us, never traced back to you.

How it works.

  1. 01
    Enter your income.

The fee scales with what you make. 1% of your annual income, with a $250 floor. No account, no profile, no story to type out.

  2. 02
    Pay the fee.

Checkout is handled by Stripe. The money leaves your account — that's the part that matters. We never publish names and we never tell the other person.

  3. 03
    Get the receipt.

A timestamped receipt by email. Not a certificate. Not absolution. A small piece of paper that says you did the thing.

Frequently asked.

Why is the minimum fee $250?+

A floor keeps the gesture from getting trivial. Anything less and it stops costing something.

Is this an admission of guilt?+

No. Our terms state it plainly: paying the fee is not an admission of guilt. The receipt is the only thing you get.

What do I get?+

A receipt. Not a certificate, not a tote bag, not a tangible item. The act is the point.

Is this a tax write-off?+

Consult your tax advisor. We aren't one.

What if they won't pay?+

That tells you something too.

Do you publish names?+

No. This is private between both parties.

Can I use this more than once with the same person?+

Please don't.
